Being a business owner was not my first calling. Before joining State Farm I was a teacher at Prosser Career Academy in Chicago, IL. During my time there, the Board of Education offered a program to work in a small business over the summer. For 6 weeks worked at an insurance agency near my home. At the end of the 6 weeks, the owner asked me to stay on part time, I did this while teaching and pursuing a master's degree. One Saturday in July of 2002, that agency owner suggested that I look into State Farm. Taking a leap of faith, I changed careers. Being a State Farm Agent has provided me my greatest challenges both professionally and personally. Twenty years later and still grateful to help my community. My State Farm team members include 4 great team members that are all bilingual (Spanish) and together we have 42 years of insurance experience. We are committed to educating our customers so that they may prosper regardless of the circumstances!
